Hey

Just interested if you can fax form a pc, and if so how do you set it up on
Windows XP?

Yes, within limits.
You have a fax modem that is fully compatable with XP. (On the approved list
from microsoft.)
You have an analog (POTS) phone. Other types of phone connections may or
may not work for various reasons.
Your version of XP or Vista has Fax. Home versions of Vista do not. Some
OEM XP versions do not include the necessary files to install Windows XP Fax
if it's not already installed.
External serial I/O "hardware" modems tend to be easier to setup and work
more consistently than internal "software" modems.
Third party Fax programs may be better suited to your needs.
Some "all in ones include a usable (usually basic) Fax program that works
with the all in one. Generally, windows fax will not work with most of the
all in ones.
