can you edit the window

when you right click on the page diplayed in IE?
I somehow downloaded something that created a link in the
window that pops up when you right click on a webpage.Is
there any way to remove this link from that window?

Go to http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/ for ToolbarCop (near the bottom)

Also... check for the malware programs which placed these on your context
menu:

Start-Run-Regedit.
Navigate to this key and see if your offending item is there in the
list of sub-keys. If so, then remove it.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt
