What would a mobile celeron 2 Ghz (when using 512mb ddr ) be comparable
too?

As good as a p3 1Ghz, or any of the athlon xps? etc..

Is it faster in some areas and slower in others?
There seems to be alot of chip compare charts for desktops but not laptops.

Will my desktop xp1600+ with 515mb sdram (133Mhz) still be a lot bertter in
terms of performance?

thanks.

The 2 GHz Celeron doesn't perform as well as the Athlon XP 1600+ in most
benchmarks.
