Can you auto delete an email once you've clicked reply?

Don't know whether there's a setting for this or if it's possible to set up
as a macro (which I've never doen before....).

Anyway, if feasible, it'll help clear up my open emails as I read through
and answer certain ones. I wouldn't then have to return to manually delete
them!
