I have been trying to solve this problem for a while and there seems to be a
black hole of information about this area.
I have a laptop and move between 2 independent work sites. I want to have
the option to log on to either domain or the machine account available when
I start up.
Can this be done by XP or do I need to get a utility like Netswitcher?
I think it can but how?
Any tips ?

I'm trying to do the exact same thing, and as you say,
there's a black hole of information regarding this.

I found a couple of possible leads, but nothing
substantial:

http://www25.brinkster.com/ChicagoTe...nfaqs.htm#How%
20to%20access%20different%20domain%20without%20changing%
20the%20network%20settings

Search this faq for keywords:
http://www.jsiinc.com/reghack.htm

If you find out how to do it, please let me know. Of
course, if I find out first, I'll forward the info to you!

btw, what is Netswitcher?
