I am new to this forum resource. Having a bit of "Newbie" start-up difficulty
posting my question as a new thread. If this is a repeat in someone else's
thread pardon my innocence. Question: I have a User Account problem that
requires the expertise of one you Techies out there in forum land. My
original User account on this particular workstation only (I have two and a
Laptop), has a problem with a corrupted MSN embedded file somewhere within XP
that links me to the MSN server when I sign in to my email account. While
other User Accounts work as they should; when I sign on to my MSN account
under my User Acct name all works well until I open my mail. I get the same
screens never updating, never connecting to the MSN Server. It's out to
lunch in a hyperspace of its own. I created a new User Acoount and all works
well. I now wish/hope to transfer User account info i.e., ICONs and
application links to the new profile before I delete the old profile. Is
this possible? If so, please tell me how.
