I use MSN as my internet default email program. However, I cannot use WORD
letters and mailing envelope address book option. I keep getting the warning
'set microdoft outlook as default mail client'. Is there a way to use MSN as
my email default and still have the ability to use the address book in WORD
to address my mail envelopes? Can WORD be modified to use OUTLOOK's address
book with OUTLOOK besing set as my email default?

No. The function is designed to work with Outlook.
You can use any data file containing addresses for the purpose of mail
merge.
