I am using WLM but WM is still installed and it's folder tree is still on my
hard drive.

I am concerned that some software in the future will not see WLM because it
does see WM.

Bottom line, can and how do I remove Windows Mail?

TIA
Ron
p.s. I have been employed in the computer industry for 40 years, so don't be
afraid to get technical.

WM is a part of Vista. You can't remove WM without removing all of Vista.
You can hide it by deleting the icon that starts it.
