I was wondering if there is a setting on IE that will permit individual
website logos to be imprinted next to the website name text on the
"favorites" menu and also on the address bar just in front of the actual
website address. Currently there is a little "e" logo (for IE) next to each
website name and also on my address box before the actual website address. I
was playing around with a different browser (Firefox) and I noticed that when
I went to individual websites that some logos would become imprinted next to
the website name when I added them to my favorites menu. Also, the same
website logo would appear just before the website address in the address box.
I thought this was a nice touch and wondered if it was possible on IE? Not
every website would have a logo, but many would and I guess it depends on how
the website is designed.

Thanks!
Ernie

Favicons are only temporary until cleared from your cache.
To make them permanent:
FavOrg-PCMag: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1558477,00.asp

or

The Code Project - FavIconizer:
