Hi,
can I use a USB to USB cable to conect 2 PCs for transferring data and
gaming. If so what speeds are possible. John

Yes you can transfer data but I have only seen usb 1.0 cables. So you are
limited to 10 megabit/sec.

No, not unless you want to spend a lot of money doing so.
Get network cards put into both computers and hook them up with a crossover
cable. It is a lot cheaper and faster (up to 100Mb/sec).

*ahem* it is NOT expensive, just slow. A USB data transfer cable at compusa
is like 19.99. BUt then again your stuck to 10Mega bit

Is there a special procedure for connecting, or is it the same as any other

NO, you can't share that way. You'll do damage to your computer if you
connect that way. You need to connect thru network cards with a CAT. 5
crossover cable.

Sorry dude, you're wrong. They make a special USB bridge cable for the
specific task of connecting two computers.

yess, i was scrolling down the article, and I got to here, I KNEW they
had one. And You can get USB2.0 cables how do you think we plug in
USB2.0 devices...It's just a different head for the device cord, and
same on either for patch. The ability to run in USB2.0 mode is
dependent on motherboard USB2.0 support on both PC's or Devices
