Only 1 instance of any version of Outlook can be installed on the same
host. You can multiple versions of other Office components installed
but not for Outlook. You can mix versions of Outlook and other Office
components but integration features between mis-matched versions won't
work; for example, you won't be able to use MailMerge in Word 2000 to
send e-mails using Outlook 2007.
You might try locating an old version 2003 of Office so that all
components of it are at the same version. At eBay, you can define a
search that will look for up to a year (until you edit the search to up
the expiration) for Office 2003 with a max price (and free shipping so
you don't get burned there) and e-mail you when they find a match. Just
be damn careful to read the auction to make sure it looks legit and also
send the seller an e-mail to make sure they are responsive. Look at the
seller's feedback rating (and review the negative ratings to see which
ones were made by obvious boobs or users trying to rip-off the seller)
and that they have made several sales within the last year. See how
long that seller has been around under that identify in eBay since they
have a vested interest in not losing that identity with users reporting
illegal sales to eBay. I got a legit copy of Office 2003 Pro for only
$40 but it took many months before I found one at that price (my maximum
for getting cheated), that was new (not used), had the COA with license
key (not something the seller printed out), while disqualifying many
matches that simply didn't look like a legit sale. My search also
looked for auctions ending with 24 hours since I wasn't interested in
the bidding process and attempting to get buyers to bid more.
