While it is possible to use Excel functions from Access, it introduces a lot
of overhead that, at least in this case, isn't required.
Take a look in the Date/Time section of "The Access Web"
http://www.mvps.org/access/ : there are a couple of different solutions
there.
Alternatively, take a look at my September, 2004 "Access Answers" column in
