Can I upgrade IBM Aptiva w/Win98 to Win2000? Need new Bios?

Does anyone know if an IBM Aptiva model E Series 520 with Win98 can be upgraded to Win200. Do I need a Bios upgrade first? Assume my machine meets configuration req's for 2000. Thanks.
