Some of my fonts apparently don't include the Euro symbol.

I've checked the Control Panel, and the fonts have dates ranging from 1997
to 2006. I've never taken any action specifically update my fonts. However,
I know that Automatic Updates is turned on, because Windows periodically
downloads updates.

How do I update my fonts?

Thanks.

Have you tried holding down the Alt Key and then typing 0128 on the numeric
keypad. Even in a font file with a data of 1992, that produces a ?.

Hope this helps.

This is the way your post appeared to me in Internet Explore. See the
problem? I know how to enter a euro symbol. But if the font can't display
it, that solves only half the problem.

Well, in word it produces the Euro symbol. Just for the heck of it, this message is being sent in HTML Format to see if the € is retained.

The Microsoft Font properties extension
(http://www.microsoft.com/typography/...roperty21.mspx) will tell you whether
there is a glyph mapped to the euro currency symbol position.
