New Computer came with Windows XP Home Edition installed plus Microsoft
Office 2003 Basic edition installed.
A stand alone program I use all the time is (Microsoft Home Publishing
2002). This program worked great with Windows 98SE, for mail merge.
Is it possible to remove one or both of the above programs and install
windows 98SE, so I can again use (home publishing 2002)?
I desperetely need to be able to use home publishing 2002, for monthly
mailings and be able to do it easily as was the case when using Windows 98SE.
Please Help

Publisher 2002 (aka XP) works just fine in WinXP. Why not use it there?
There is no reason you can't install it alongside Office2003.

The problem with reverting to Win98 are twofold. One, you may or may not be
able to find proper drivers for the system under that OS. Two, you should
know that extended support for that OS is ending, so proper security
updating will not be possible.

Sorry Rick,
I gave you the wrong program I am trying to use. The program that I have
always used is (Home Publishing 2000) with all the graphics in designing
Postcards, Address Labels, and flyers for my customers. However I find that
I cannot mail merge information in a .xlw workspace into this program. I
have tried saving a copy of the .xlw as a text file and still no luck?
What to do?

Hi,

Sorry, I know nothing of that program. Have you checked with support for it
yet? It may be something as simple as using an export procedure instead of
file/save as.
