Are you using a laptop or a desktop? Since you mentioned "changing the
batteries", it sounds like you must have a laptop, in which case your best
bet is to take it to a computer shop. If it is a desktop, try a different
keyboard.

Actually, I think it is a wireless keyboard. You may be recieving
electrical inteference. You should try changing the channels from your
wireless reciever. You will have to look in your user manual to figure
out how to do it as it is different for every maker.

The other question I have is have you recently dropped the keyboard or
spilled anything on it? This will sometimes jar the springs under the
letters (or make them sticky) and cause the keyboard to stop working
properly.

Erm, why? You never heard of a wireless keyboard? A laptop doesn't run on
the sort of batteries you change. It has a rechargeable battery pack.

I don't use a wireless keyboard, so that possibility just did not occur to
me. OK? By the way, batteries do go bad, even rechargeable ones, and when
they do - guess what - they have to be changed.

Don't worry about her Papa She just thinks it is fun to come in and
prove people wrong. I'm thinking she has self image issues and it makes
her feel better.

Yes, and others have observed that same behavior from her too. Guess it
takes all kinds.
