can I turn off the "printer ink may be low" warning?

's Computer Specifications

We bought 2 new gateway computers, and a new printer. Every time we go to print on the brand new printer, the warning comes on telling us the printer ink may be low. It is now doing it on the 2nd gateway which is attached to an existing laser printer. NEITHER printer is in need of ink. Can we turn this warning off?

There may be a way to turn off the "ink level monitor" or whatever it is
called with your particular printer using the printer properties applet.

thanks - turns out it was a Gateway applet and I just un-installed the software. :-)
