can´t delete a directory

Hello,

I can´t delete a directory with its subdirectories and files because my win
2000 server OS says : Access is denied. The source file may be in use. (but
it isn´t).
All files got the attribute "a" through copying from another Computer. If I
want to change this the OS says that I am not allowed to edit them although
I´m admin.
Can someone help me to solve this problem? .
