Before you do anything, find your modem driver disk or download it. Then,
open Device Manager and remove your modem from the current hardware profile.
Reboot the computer. The 'New Hardware Wizard' will pop up saying it has
found new hardware and is searching for a driver. Reinstall the driver from
your CD.
You should now be able to set up an internet connection and specify the
modem under Network Settings.
