I just want to verify your end goal here: You want to get your Lotus Notes
mail on your smartphone over the air.

Right?

If yes, there are numerous solutions out there for smartphones, Lotus
EasySync Pro, CommonTime msuite, both provide syncing, but it's not over the
air. If you want to sync via Outlook, you need the Lotus Notes to Outlook
Connector from Microsoft. The 2k7 version might be out by now, or it might
not, but unless you have an Exchange server, it's still not going to be over
the air.

Personally, I'd go for a Lotus Notes specific solution, rather than a Rube
Goldberg Notes -> Outlook -> SmartPhone solution *unless* of course, you
were planning on using the Outlook Client to access your Notes server. If
the only reason Outlook is in the picture is so you can get data onto the
phone, get something that shortens the trip.

You can wirelessly replicate your Lotus Notes mail/calendar/contacts/
task using CommonTime's mNotes (individuals) or mSuite (corporates)
software.
Please see www.commontime.com for further details.
