How can I swich off automatic closing of Outlook window

When I try to minimize the Outlook window it closes completely, how can I
switch this option off? Thanks in advance.

Are you sure that it closes and doesn't minimize to the Notification Area
instead?

Thanks for the comment. Yes it closes complitely. I do recieve notifications
of the incoming mails untill I open Outlook again

Then it doesn't closes. What is the option set to in the Notification Area?

I do NOT recieve notifications
of the incoming mails untill I open Outlook again. Sorry for missprinting.

I just started having a similar problem. I still get the new message notification, but all my open windows of Outlook (calendar, inbox, notes, contacts --- whatever was open) disappear. Sometimes when I launch again I have to open each window again, other times they all open again.
