When I open Outlook, two separate window (both of my inbox) open. Then,
when I type a reply or a new message, it hangs for several seconds before
allowing me to type the message? Any suggestions?

Close one Window with the X in the upper left hand corner, then close the other using the File->Exit. Or the other way around - I forget. One should work.
