Hi I'm using FP2000

I'm trying to enhance my database from "Learnasp"
and basically get to grips with faster connections.

My problem is that everytime I change any code in HTML view
and try to save it - FP overwrites it!

I have saved everything and copied to Notepad and then inserted
it back into FP via Insert/Advanced/HTML - that works to some
degree but I still get all the 'grey' coloured code that FP stuffs on every
page.

It's driving me crazzzy - thanks Stephen

Tools | Page Options | HTML Source ...

But if you are working with content from Learnasp, then you can not use the
FP Database component. Learnasp is providing examples that you would use
when hand coding.

In general, any code that FP generates, you can not modify if you want to
re-open the page in FP.

Well, as you know, Tom, you can remove the WebBot tags from the code, and
FrontPage will stop changing it. Of course, this also diables making any
further changes with the Wizard.
