How can I show the time elapsed and the time to go in my presentat

In other ppt-presentations I have seen people using a sort of timebar or
piechart to indicate how much longer the presentation is going to take.

On the net I have found an application named thermometer that does almost
that. But I can only adjust the colour, shape, position etc temporarily. When
I start a new presentation the thermometer goes back to it's original setting.

How can I show my public how much longer they have to listen to me. PLEASE
HELP ME!!!
