How can I have shared folder rights but not allowed to install software in
Windows XP ??

I don't beive that is possible unless you have administrators or power users
group membership and are restricted by Software Restriction Policies
(possible in XP Pro).

Always start with the least priviledges and grant what is needed, not the
other way.
