How can I share a Share?

Is there a way to mount a share in windows to another windows server share?
Note: All machines I am referencing are Windows boxes.
I have a server that is running out of HD space. I need to move the
biggest directory (which is shared and used on a daily basis by everybody!)
to another server with more available space. The problem is that lots of
other processes, scripts and machines, both Linux and Windows, are currently
connecting to this share. How can I make the current share appear to be
local, but have it actually redirect to the new data location on the other
server. I'm trying not to disrupt the existing connections? I was thinking
if there was a way to map a share to the new location, then share that share
on the first machine. Somehow making the current machine just a pass-through
to the new server location.
I don't know if this makes sense or not.... any other ideas? Thanks!

You don't "share a share".

You use Distributed File System (DFS).
It has been improved with Server2003-R2 but has been around long before
that.
It is already part of the Server OS, you just have to dig into the built in
Help or gather information on MS's site for how to use it correctly.

Awesome! I have of course, heard of DFS and even learned about it during
MCSE training 8 years ago but never had a need to play with it.
Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Very good.
Good luck with it,...I can't help much beyond that,...I've never used it
myself either. I'd have the study it for a while first as well.
