I can pick delegates but the permissions is grayed out. Is there something
that I need to setup on Exchange?

Which calendar are you trying to share?

We are trying to share our personal calendars so that our boss can view them
individually through his outlook.

How about you show the boss the Group Schedules function - it's a tiny
button on the toolbar when you are in the calendar folder. It looks like a
calendar with a head on top.

This is where your boss could set up a Group Schedule of the whole team an
instantly see availability and even what you're doing (select show Calendar
Details).

It's a great function but often not discoverer!

By "personal calendars," do you mean the Calendar folder in your Exchange
mailbox or some other folder? Only your mailbox folders can be shared.
