I'm try to set up a template in Form or Report ( report or label) so that I
can printing continuous checks from Access. If I use report there is 0.18"
margin I can not zero out. If I use label there is no 3 1/2" X 8 1/2" ( check
size) in either pre-set label or costomize lebel will accept my setting.

Can your printer handle printing right to the edge? That could be the reason
for the .18" margin.

As Doug pointed out, the minimum margins are determined from the printer you
have installed and specified to print the Report. "Label templates" are just
reports, sized for pre-printed label sheets. They won't override the minimum
margin.

What margin do your continuous check forms have? Use it, or calculate
settings that will work with the forms on which you want to print. It may be
possible just to ignore the .018 inch "margin" because it's unlikely you'll
need to print anything in the top .018" of the check, anyway.

At the size you describe, if the forms are 8.5" X 11", the checks will
occupy 8.5" x 10.5". You should be able to determine the margins and space
between them to create your report in the proper size.
