How can I set my Windows XP Computer to the default settings?

I have a windows XP Desktop Computer and I want to hard rest it to when
I got it from the box. I have some CDs but I do not know witch CDs I
need to use in order to hard reset it. Please be detailed as possible

You want detail, but you're not giving anyone enough information to help
you. What brand of computer? Did it come with a manual? Did you read it?
Have you tried looking at the manufacturer's website for information?
What do the labels on your CDs say?

A post to the below group might also prove fruitful as this sounds like
software problem.

1. Call the tech support number that came with the PC.
2. Say "I want to do reinstall".
3. Do what the tech tells you.
