I have publisher 2003, but have upgraded the rest of my office suite to 2007.
is publisher compatible with outlook across years? i would love to send
publisher docs as e-mails (not as attachments), but so far have had no
success.

To send them in the message body using File, Send you need to use the same
version. You could save as HTML then insert into the email message.
