What is the size of your file? Which version of PowerPoint? And, how did you try to send the file?

When you attach it to your email, there should be an indicator as to the file size. You can also open Windows Explorer, navigate to your presentation and it will tell you the filesize. Or you can right click on your presentation and select properties and it will tell you the filesize. sounds like you might be exceeding the size limits for attachments

Maybe you powerpoint is too big to send with gmail?
If you want to sent your presentation by E-mail, you should sent some
audio, video file, too.
I recommend you use some program to convert your presentation then
sent it by email directly.
convert your presentation to video format with PPT to video

convert your presentation to DVD with PPT2DVD http://www.ppt-to-dvd.com
