Can send but not receive e-mail after re-install

Our hard drive crashed and was replaced. We've been re-installing our
software and while everything else seems to be working, we cannot receive
e-mail into Outlook 2003. We can send e-mail and see it by utilizing our
comcast account, so we know it exists.

I've already tried manually selecting send/receive changing the setting to
automatically send/receive. No luck.

We don't receive any error messages or other questions or requests.....
just...nothing

Security measures that we have now are Windows Firewall and Stopzilla
Spyware, pop-up and Siteguard protections all enabled.

Any help would be appreciated.
thanks

Ensure that outlook.exe is allowed in the firewall.

Um, so did you look in your mailbox up on the server using the webmail
interface to your account to see if there were actually any e-mails
sitting in your Inbox for your e-mail client to see? If there are no
e-mails in your mailbox then that's why the e-mail client doesn't
retrieve any.
