I can send but can't receive email on Outlook. Error 0x8004210A

I have turned off firewall, used a Registry Cleaner software and spoken to
Comcast who tells me it's an Outlook problem. In addition to the error, I
keep getting prompted that username/password not correct. I have reentered
it numerous times. Also, this happened randomly. It's not new software.

Used a registry cleaner, then who knows what damage has been caused.
Do you have an anti virus intergrated with outlook?

"Error 0x8004210A" is *not* the entire error message.
Don't describe an error.
Don't summarize an error.
Don't paraphrase an error.
Don't truncate an error.
Do show the ENTIRE error message (munge/star out your username).

Often what else is in the error message indicates the problem. You
didn't mention WHICH version of Outlook that you use. You didn't
mention WHICH version of Windows that you use. These both can affect
the cause of the error.
