I want to know where the emails in my search results are stored, particularly
which folder. Is there a way to show the folder for emails found using search?

You can add the In Folder column to your view. By default, this is shown in
a tooltip as well when you hover on an email message.
Note that it will only tell you the name of the folder. It cannot reveal the
folder path.
