How can I see more events per day on the monthly view in Outlook?

In Outlook 2007 the monthly view is only showing 4 events per day when I have
many more than that. I know that it can't show all of them, but I also would
swear that I could see a lot more in the previous version of Outlook. It's
difficult if I need to move appointments around and I can't see them on the
month view. My screen resolution is already at 1280 x 800 and changing the
font size in Outlook didn't help. Any suggestions, add-ins, other software
that can interact with Outlook so I can see more?

It would be nice if the monthly view would adjust and grow each day so it
showed all the events, even if that meant I only saw 3 weeks at a time
instead of 5.
