To copy the entire database, exit Access and copy the file via Windows
Explorer. In Access, "Save As" is used to make copies of objects or to
convert objects within the current file, which isn't what you want.
In Access, a table only exists as an object within a larger database file so
*technically* you can only copy it to another database if you want to
maintain its original "tableness".
However, you can export the *contents* of a table into various formats,
including text file or an Excel file: select the table then File>Export, and
select a file format. One of the options in this dialog is .mdb, which
allows you to copy the table *into* another database.
