Hi
i am using FP2002 on WinXP home, i was hoping to publish to the local hard
drive to check out and work on the site whilst away from home office. I get
the message that certain things won't work like forms etc without FP
extension etc.
Is there a way i can do this to check all the sites functions will work
before uploading to the web?
all help greatly appreciated.

Rgds
Kev

Server extensions come in when you are running a server on your local machine or when you are publishing to host server (on the internet).

You can still test your design on your local machine without a server running (pretty much) by File/Preview In Browser and browse to your local folder with the index page in it.
