I can run the Custer demo fine but when I try to run the game

I can run the Custer demo fine but when I try to run the game, an "Error 010:
can not access DMM" occurs. I googled DMM and believe it is Dynamic Memory
Manager but I am not sure. Any help would be appreciated.
