I'm going to have a long list each day in excel of new Rules/Searches I need
to perform on my inbox. Can these be "grabbed" from the spreadhsheet and
imported somehow?

No, not directly. Using VBA would probably be your way to go.

The Rules Wizard can't import any file but one that it itself has created, an
RWZ file. I don't know of any way to import a search, either.
