Can I revert to a previously saved version of a document?

I created a document and saved it. Then I saved something else and replaced
my first saved document in error. Is there any way to revert my file back to
the previously saved document?

Not if you don't have a back up copy of that file or if you closed Word
after incorrectly saving it.
