Anyone know a work around for this?

I don't want to lose my profile, documents & settings, etc. and need to
go to Windows XP Pro. I have valid licensing and CDs.

There is no upgrade path from a Client OS (XP) to a Server OS (2003)
and therefore there also no downgrade path.

backup your documents, start from scratch, restore your documents

In regards to settings, some applications might allow you to "copy" or
"export" the settings, but then again many don't.
