I know there's a way of "unsending" an e-mail, but I can't find the
instructions. Say I sent an e-mail and I want to get it back. I know it can
be done before it's read. Can someone please help me.

This doesn't guarantee it will work, this function is best used in an
Exchange environment internally but this is what you can do:

Open the email you want to retrieve. Click on Action, scroll to Recall This
Message.

As I said, there is no guarantee that this will work, even in an Exchange
environment.

Thanks--thing is when I click on Actions, there is no "recall this message".
That's where the problem is.

You need to open the message and then click on Other Actions (Outlook
2007 - may be slightly different in prior versions...)

Are you in a Microsoft Exchange evironment? If not (for example, if you're
using Outlook to access your email with your internet provider) then you
cannot use this functionality. If the message is sent, it's sent.

It can also only be retrieved if the message has not already been opened by
the recipient.

While you may have been able to send a recall message, that's no guarantee
that the message will actually be recalled. If the recipient has already seen
it, then there's nothing you can do.
