The temp folder where Outlook saves a copy of file that you are editing
is its hidden OLK folder. Go into the registry and look at the key:

You did not mention WHICH version of Outlook that you use. For OL2002,
replace the 11.0 or 12.0 shown in the above article with 10.0, or
another product version number if you are using an even earlier version
of Outlook.
