I've accidentally deleted numerous notes from my Outlook 2007 NOTES, via
sychronization with a handheld device. I absolutely MUST recover these
notes; they're critical to the daily operation of my one-man business. How
can I restore them?

From backup would be the obvious answer.
How restoring works depends on your mail account configuration and backup
methods.

Open your Deleted Items folder and drag them back to your Notes folder.
