So, I went through and set names for the color categories when I installed
Outlook 2007. Now, however, my job has changed, and I'd like to be able to
either (a) reset everything to the default, or (b) bulk-edit all the category
names so they are either generic or empty, so that I can start fresh, and not
have the old names in there causing confusion (I've already cleared the
categories from the items to which they were attached--I just don't want to
have to scroll through the whole list to find the new, appropriate category,
and I'm too lazy & cranky to be willing to go in and change each one
manually.)

For editing you might use Category Manager, please see the link in my
signature for details and the download.

If you want the default back, just delete all and add six with different
colors.
