WinXP Home SP2. If I can't rename it, any suggestions for tricks to
accomplish the same thing, like copying files, etc.?

You could make a copy of the profile and give it a different name; 'Control
Panel|Mail|Show Profiles|Copy', give the copy a different name, test it,
delete the original if the copy behaves normally.
