I have just installed MS antispyware on as new pc running xp sp2.
It was running ok and then for various reasons, I have had to do a couple of system restores.
I then noticed that whenever I tried to open VB6 or a VBA program in excel 2003, Windows Installer keeps trying to configure MSAS. If i let it run, it finished with Error 1706.

I tried to remove MSAS but keep getting Internal Error 2753.
I tried to repair or reinstall MSAS but still get Internal Error 2753.

Could someone tell me how to overcome this please so I can uninstall MSAS and re-install it?
Thanks
Chris
