As a moderator, I need to review messages that come in. I would like to then
redirect the reviewed messages so that it shows the sender as the originator
of the message not me. Can that be done?

In other words, you want to read other peoples emails without them knowing it?

No, sorry if I didn't explain it correctly. I'm the moderator of an email
group. So when someone sends an email to this group, I need to review it
before forwarding it on to that group. But I want the group to see that it
came from the originator of the message not me. Outlook has a redirect rule,
but, I believe, it redirects it automatically before I could look at it.
Does that make sense?

You need to use the tools provided by the list hoster.

Okay, I'm a real newbie. I work at a University, so the list hoster would be
our main mail service? I'm on a pc and use Outlook to view my mail.

As far as the list is concerned, you're just another recipient. If your
university's mail server implements mailing lists, they should have
moderation tools available as well. Have you asked the server admins what
to do?
