For some reason (not sure), when I rebooted my computer it asked me to set up
my e mail preferences (including pop server and smtp), so I did, according to
what information I have. When I did this I ended up with a totally new
account (e mail) and seemed to have lost all my old folders, all my old e
mail, some so important I want to shoot myself if I can't recover (J/K, but
serious, too!). Anybody out there want to safe a life???????

Do you back up your data?
Have you looked for your previous Outlook data file? It would not have been
removed.
