While typing up my history coursework for A level word 2007 came up saying
that the document was unable to remain open for some reason and then said it
would save the document and close. once it had closed i reopened the
recovered document but it only saved the first paragraph. Is there a way i
can recover the whole document? Please help, its really urgent.

If the document has not been saved, there is nothing to recover.
